Just a locksmith from Brighton reading and writing a few books at a time..

Brighton Locksmith Can Read

Gerry Here,

I'm a 57 year old locksmith from Bristol originally but now situated in Brighton and have been since I was a young lad. I absolutely love reading and occasionally writing poems and was recommended to this site by a dear friend who couldn't believe how many great reads and reviews she was getting from this site.

A bit about what I do for a living. I'm a locksmith in the Brighton area which means I deal with lock outs, lock changes and even new lock installations on doors that didn't previously have locks in them. This goes for all types of locks and keys such as your standard night latches or Yales as they are commonly referred to, euro cylinders and mechanisms for uPVC doors and your old school 5 lever mortise locks. Me and my small team are dedicated to providing any locksmith service in any area in Brighton and Hove and do this 24/7 365 days of the year. I employ some young office workers to take my calls and deal with the technical side of things such as my website and so on. I love my job as I get to meet a bunch of great people everyday and even though there are a few exceptions to that I still thoroughly enjoy my job and won't stop until I cant' do it anymore.

A bit about the type of books I read, well firstly my favourite author is Fyodor Dostoevsky and my favourite types of books to read are all about philosophy and historical politics. Because my line of work relies on me being on call all of the time reading is the most suited hobby for my life as I can take a book anywhere and lose myself in it, I always take the book I'm currently reading in the van with me so I have something to do if I get a spare 20 minutes.

This is the main reason for joining this site, hopefully I'll be able to interact with other people like minded about books and such as well as the very helpful reviews and spoilers on this site.

Looking forward to speaking to lot's of you
